Student Announcements for Monday, Dec. 10, 2007

When driving to Mickle, in the morning or afternoon, please approach Mickle from 70th via Walker Ave and from North Cotner via Walker Ave. All traffic on Walker Ave. turns left on North 67th Street. All other streets are for exciting back out to Leighton and North Cotner. This traffic pattern drops off all students on the school side of the street, which is by far the safest, not the most convenient. Student always have the right of way when they are using the crosswalk areas. Please error on the side of safety over convenience and following the traffic pattern even if it requires you to leave 5 minutes early.

"Homework Clubs are held at Mickle on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. (Exceptions are noted in Student Announcements.) Homework Clubs run from 3-4 p.m. 6th Grade Homework Club is in room 210, 7th Grade Homework Club is in 114, and 8th Grade Homework Club is in Portable 12. Homework Club teachers will put a sticker in the students planner that says that they attended and when they leave."

There are lots of nice clothes and other items in the lost and found. Please come claim your items. The lost and found will be packed up and donated over Christmas break. You need to get your belongings before then or they will be gone. The lost and found is located at the end of the hall by the FCS room.
