Student Announcements for Friday, Dec. 14, 2007

Band concert has been rescheduled for Monday, December 17, at 7:00 p.m.

6th Grade Band Students: Don't forget your instruments on Monday for the 12:30 rehearsal.

The Mickle Quiz bowl will meet on Monday in Portable 11. Please be sure to attend this meeting. We need to register you for the regional event at UNL. If you are unable to attend this meeting, please visit with Ms. Bockman or Mr. Rousseau during school to ensure we have your correct information. Thank you.

Do you like to talk, or argue, or act? Then the Speech, Debate, Creative Drama Intramural program is for you! The Informational meeting will be January 12 for those who want more information on the program. Sessions begin on Jan. 19. These will be held at Southeast High School. See Mrs. Harris in Room 117 or Mrs. Wolzen in room 220, your counselor or English teacher for more information. All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are welcome, regardless of skill level. If you plan to participate or are just interested, please turn in the registration form in the brochure to Mrs. Harris or Mrs. Wolzen.

Art Club is today, Dec. 14, from 3:15-4:15 with Mrs. Gabelhouse.

If you have an overdue library book, please return it as soon as possible, remember someone else is waiting to read it. Thanks!

New Club members--all stories for the next issue are due Wednesday, December 19. If you can't finish your story in one meeting please take it home so it can make the next issue. Thanks! Mrs. Vanneman

The deadline for Pet Show entries in the media center is Friday, December 21, the last day before vacation. Be sure to enter, 3 lucky students will star on posters with their pets. See Mrs. Vanneman or Mrs. Scheuler for details!

The Mickle Girl's Choir will practice Thursday morning, Dec. 13 at 7:15 a.m. and after school from 3:30 - 4:00 p.m.

The Mickle All-School Choir (all "Cars" singers and dancers) will practice after school on Thursday, Dec. 13 in the choir room from 3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Art Club is Friday, Dec. 14, from 3:15-4:15 with Mrs. Gabelhouse.

8th grade business is going to be selling cookies on Thursday, December 13 after school at the main entrance. You can buy one cookie for 50 cents. The money made will help provide holiday meals for some Mickle families. Get there before they are all gone!

Friday is Mickle Pride Day!!! Show your spirit by wearing your Mickle gear. This includes Mickle shirts or Mickle pride shirts or sweatshirts. Let's show some Missle spirit!!!
