Student Announcements for Monday, Dec. 17, 2007

Students should arrive at Mickle by 7:50 a.m. to give them time to put their belongings in their lockers and arrive at their 8:00 a.m. class on time. Students may not arrive on campus prior to 7:30 a.m. when adults are available for supervision. Having this arrival time is for the safety of your child. The times are coordinated with Sampson≠s Construction to minimize construction activity during arrival times. Students who arrive early will be directed to the P7 classroom where supervision is available.

Band concert is today at 7:00 p.m.

Anthony Ainslie has been selected by the Mickle Character Education Committee as our B107.3 Character MVP Award winner. Listen to a summary of Anthony's great character qualities throughout this week on B107.3. Congratulations, Anthony.

There are lots of nice clothes and other items in the lost and found. Please come claim your items. The lost and found will be packed up and donated over Christmas break. You need to get you belongings before then or they will be gone. The lost and found is located at the end of the hall by the FCS room.

6th Grade Band Students: Remember rehearsal today at 12:30.

The Mickle Quiz bowl will meet today in Portable 11. Please be sure to attend this meeting. We need to register you for the regional event at UNL. If you are unable to attend please visit with Ms. Bockman or Mr. Rousseau. Thank you.

New Club members--all stories for the next issue are due Wednesday, December 19. If you can't finish your story in one meeting please take it home so it can make the next issue. Thanks! Mrs. Vanneman

The deadline for Pet Show entries in the media center is Friday, December 21, the last day before vacation. Be sure to enter, 3 lucky students will star on posters with their pets. See Mrs. Vanneman or Mrs. Scheuler for details!

We have a few recycled copies of issue 1 of the Zig Zag Zine available for half-price, 5 cents, in the media center. They are just as good as new. Get one today! Mrs. Vanneman
