Student Announcements for Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007

Announcements for Parents: When driving to Mickle, in the morning or afternoon, please approach Mickle from 70th via Walker Ave and from North Cotner via Walker Ave. All traffic on Walker Ave turns left on N. 67th street. All other streets are for exiting back out to Leighton and North Cotner. This traffic pattern drops off all students on the school side of the street, which is by far the safest, not the most convenient. Students always have the right of way when they are using the crosswalk areas. Please error on the side of safety over convenience and following the traffic pattern even if it requires you to leave 5 minutes early.

There are lots of nice clothes and other items in the lost and found. Please come claim your items. The lost and found will be packed up and donated over Christmas break. You need to get you belongings before then or they will be gone. The lost and found is located at the end of the hall by the FCS room.

Announcements for Students: The Mickle All-Girls Choir will practice Thursday morning, December 20 in the choir room at 7:15 a.m.

IMPORTANT = There will be NO REHEARSAL for ALL-SCHOOL CHOIR OR GIRLS CHOIR AFTER SCHOOL on Thursday, December 20 (due to a staff meeting).

The Mickle Native American Caucus meets this Thursday in room 112. See you then. Mr. Rousseau

Attention Artists!!!! Animal drawings are needed for the Pet Show Book. Draw an animal and turn it in at the library, it could be published! Thanks! Mrs. Vanneman

Students interested in learning to and competing in the sport of wrestling, the Competitive Edge Wrestling Academy is now having sign up and practice every Monday and Wednesday Night at 6:30 at the Devaney Sports Center in the UNL wrestling room. Contact Rusty Steiger @ 402-525-5801 for details.

The deadline for Pet Show entries in the media center is Friday, December 21, the last day before vacation. Be sure to enter, 3 lucky students will star on posters with their pets. See Mrs. Vanneman or Mrs. Scheuler for details!

INTRAMURALS

Girls Basketball will begin on Monday - January 7th. Please report for try outs.
