Student Announcements for Friday, Jan. 4, 2008

Announcements for Parents:

"Homework Clubs are held at Mickle on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. (Exceptions are noted in Student Announcements.) Homework Clubs run from 3-4 p.m. 6th Grade Homework Club is in room 210, 7th Grade Homework Club is in 114, and 8th Grade Homework Club is in room 110. Homework Club teachers will put a sticker in the students planner that says that they attended and when they leave."

Announcements for Students:

The Mickle All-School Choir ("Cars" songs) will practice after school today, Jan. 4 from 3:00 - 3:30 in the choir room, followed by Mickle All-Girls Choir ("Disney" songs) from 3:30 - 4:00. Our concert is next Thursday, Jan 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the gym.

The Yellow VIP Passes have to be used before the end of the semester. Starting January 15th the yellow passes will no longer be accepted.

Do you like to talk, or argue, or act? Then the Speech, Debate, Creative Drama Intramural program is for you! The Informational meeting will be January 12 for those who want more information on the program. Sessions then begin on Jan. 19. These will be held at Southeast High School. See_Mrs. Harris in Room 117, your counselor or English teacher for more information. All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are welcome, regardless of skill level. If you plan to participate or are just interested, please turn in the registration form in the brochure to Mrs. Harris.

INTRAMURALS

Girls Basketball will begin on Monday - January 7th. Please report for try outs.

Breakfast Menu for Monday: Breakfast Pizza, Whole Grain Toast, Juice or Milk

Lunch Menu for Friday: Italian Beef Meatballs on Spaghetti, Breaded Pork Sandwich, Chicken Fajita Sandwich and fresh salads made daily here at Mickle.
