Announcements for Parents:

The Mickle Science Fair will be Wednesday, March 19th, from 3:15-5:30.

Announcements for Students:

Clay Anderson--Nebraska's astronaut who was on the space shuttle Atlantis for over 5 months-will be the featured speaker for the Lincoln District Science Fair on Tuesday, April 1st. Also on that date he will be at East High from 1:00 to 2:00 for an assembly with District Science Fair participants. If you are participating, please see your science teachers or Mr. Rousseau on how you can attend this assembly and meet Clay Anderson.

3 more days until turn in!! Dedicate an hour to give to Mickle and help us on the fundraising effort. It's not to late to get lots of orders. Every order counts. Sell Safe and help yourself and Mickle benefit from your efforts.

The Mickle jazz band recently participated in the Great Plains Jazz Festival in Omaha. They received two Excellent ratings and one Superior rating from the judges. Many band members were awarded certificates for outstanding solos: Taylor Montgomery, Lexie Richter, Miranda Karsting, Edie Widdowson, Josh Smith, Chris Harroun, Jeremy Potter, Nikki Miller, Kelsey Schoenleber, Noah Brubaker, Andrew Huffman and Jimmy Ruley.

The Mickle Native American Caucus meets this Wednesday in Mr. Rousseau's portable right after school until 3:45. Les Painter from Indian Education will be visiting with us. We are looking forward to seeing you. Thank you, Mr. Rousseau

Stop in the media center for a bookmark for passwords and ids for Home Access for the same resources that you use at school when accessing Media Resources on the Mickle home page at school. Mrs. Vanneman

Keep the box tops coming, we will continue to collect. We will have individual winners every quarter and class winners every month.

If you like to create and draw you should enter the Lincoln City Libraries Bookmark Contest. See Mrs. Vanneman in the media center for details.
