Announcements for Parents:

STUDENTS WILL BE DISMISSED AT 1:38 TODAY DUE TO DISTRICT PLC MEETINGS. THERE WILL BE NO HOMEWORK CLUB TODAY.

If any parents are interested in volunteering at the All School Party on Thursday, March 20th, please contact Mickle at 436-1216. We will need volunteers for helping with the games, serving food, supervision of halls and dance area. We are asking for donations of 2 liter bottles of pop and bags of miniature candy bars or other similar candy types.

Announcements for Students:

8th Graders: If you are interested in being on Student Council at Northeast please stop the office and pick up an application form. The application needs to be turned in by April 1st.

Latina Caucus girls please turn in your conference registration forms if you plan to attend the Latina Youth Leadership Conference Thanks Mrs Davis

Students interested in detasseling this summer can request an application from there grade level counselor. Applicants must be at least 12 by July 1. Davis

Mickle Science fair participants don't forget to turn in your permission slips to Mr. Rousseau if you are attending the Astronaut assembly at East High School.

There will be no Native American Caucus this week due to the all school party. Enjoy your break. Thanks Mr. Rousseau

Cans for Books starts in April so start saving your empty pop cans. Anyone who brings a grocery sack of empty pop cans to the media center could win a beautiful poster. See Mrs. Schuler or Mrs. Vanneman for details and help our library get more new books!

ALL 7TH GRADE SINGERS THAT TURNED IN PERMISSION SLIPS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 7TH GRADE ALL-CITY CHOIR FESTIVAL: We will have our rehearsals on Monday, March 31 (our first day back from spring break) and Wednesday, April 2 in the choir room 103 at 7:15 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. both days. We will be having ONLY FOUR rehearsals here at Mickle, so please attend as many as possible.

We will be going to Dawes on the morning of April 8, 2008 for our group rehearsal. The final concert will be that evening, April 8th at 7:00 p.m. at Dawes Middle School.

INTRAMURALS

Get Ready Track Stars - Mickle Track begins on Monday - March 31st after the Break. Mon / Wed - 7th grade report Tues / Thurs - 8th grade report Friday - All report Practice will end around 4:30 and you must be off campus by 4:45.

Breakfast Menu for Wednesday: Pancake & Sausage on a Stick, Cold Cereal, Whole Grain Toast, Juice or Milk.

Lunch Menu for today: Mucho Nacho, Beef & Bean Burrito, Chicken Fajita, and fresh salads made daily here at Mickle.
