Student Annoucements for Tuesday, April 1, 2008
Announcements for Parents:
Today, a construction crew accidentally set off our fire alarm system. Initially, it is impossible to tell if an alarm has been set off accidentally or purposefully, so we immediately called 911 and evacuated the building. The construction crew notified us right away, so we were able to call the dispatch and cancel the fire call. Students were outside for about five minutes (from 10:35-10:40 a.m.) I≠m sorry for the inconvenience that it caused students, but I am very pleased that we were able to evacuate so quickly and orderly. If you have any questions, please give me a call.
New Entrances: 6th graders new entrance will be at the gym doors on the west side of the building. 7th graders will enter the main doors and will wait in the main hall by the media center. 8th graders should be dropped off on the south side of the building and enter the portable doors where they will wait in the east wing by the lockers.
