Announcements for Parents:

If you are interested in helping with the annual Eighth Grade Party which is scheduled for May 29th from 7-9 p.m. at the Northeast Family YMCA. Please contact the school at 436-1216. Mrs. Peppmuller and Mrs. Euler are leading the planning this year.

Announcements for Students:

Any student wanting to detassel this summer must see their grade level counselor before Friday to sign up.

8th grade students going to East please turn in your verification sheets to Mrs Davis if you made changes to the schedule. If you applied for Biology and it is not on your schedule please see Mrs Davis.

There will be a preseason meeting for all 8th grade girls interested in trying out for volleyball at Northeast next year. At this meeting summer league sign up will happen AND opportunities for other summer activities and important dates/deadlines will be shared. Please make every attempt to be at this meeting with your parent/guardian. If you can't make it and would like information, please email Coach Leising at mleising@lps.org. The meeting will be April 21st at 6:30 and it will be in the Northeast cafeteria/commons area.

Those students, their parents, and Mickle Staff who are interested in participating in the May 17th Heartwalk can get a collection envelope from Mrs. Motz. No money will be due until May 13th, but a commitment to pay is due to Mrs. Motz no later than Wednesday, April 16th. She will send a fax listing the walkers to the Heartwalk leaders that afternoon with your verbal pledge. T-shirts for youth will be $10.00 and $30.00 for adults due May 13th to Mrs. Motz. Checks can be made out to the American Heart Association.

April is Cans for Books month. Bring a grocery sack full of pop cans to the media center and have a chance to win a beautiful poster! Ask in the media center for details.

Last chance for the box top winners to pick up your movie money from Mrs. Pfoltner tonight after school in the band room. Individual winners for collecting box tops are the following: Julie V., Sarah P., Sam E., Derek D., Jordan D. and Ethan R.

Mickle Computer Lab Fundraiser: Join us for Waffles, Basketball and Fun!! Monday, April 21st, 5:00 - 7:00 pm. The Waffle Man will be here in the cafeteria so bring your family and have dinner at Mickle for only $5.00 per person you can have as many waffles as you want. Admission to watch the basketball games is $1 and it will be in the New Gym!

INTRAMURALS

Mickle Track Schedule for the Season 7th grade report Monday and Thursday, 8th grade report Tuesday and Wednesday, Friday - All report Practice will end around 4:30 and you must be off campus at that time.

Breakfast Menu for Thursday: Pancake & Sausage on a Stick, Cold Cereal, Whole Grain Toast, Juice or Milk.

Lunch Menu for today: Fiestada, Hot Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Chicken Strips w/Biscuit, and fresh salads made daily here at Mickle.
