Announcements for Parents:

There will be a PTSO meeting next Tuesday night April 22nd, beginning with a presentation at 6:30 p.m. regarding drug and alcohol abuse and treatment for middle school students and their families? Thank you, Mr. Neal

If you are interested in helping with the annual Eighth Grade Party which is scheduled for May 29th from 7-9 p.m. at the Northeast Family YMCA. Please contact the school at 436-1216. Mrs. Peppmuller and Mrs. Euler are leading the planning this year.

Announcements for Students:

This is a friendly reminder that since its starting to warm up please feel free to bring a water bottle.

Any student wanting to detassel this summer must see their grade level counselor before Friday to sign up.

The Native American Caucus will meet this Friday in Mr. Rousseau's portable, after school, until 3:45. Thank you

Project Bridge Builders meets today in the cafeteria. This club is for African American students. The club is run by UNL's Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. The club offers homework help, playing sports, and learning the art of stepping.

Dance Club for CLC will not be meeting Friday, April 18.

Attention Parade Participants, including the SHAC committee: There will be a short meeting after school on Monday, April 21, in room Aud 2 to discuss specifics of the parade. Permission slips are due by WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23!

There will be a preseason meeting for all 8th grade girls interested in trying out for volleyball at Northeast next year. At this meeting summer league sign up will happen AND opportunities for other summer activities and important dates/deadlines will be shared. Please make every attempt to be at this meeting with your parent/guardian. If you can't make it and would like information, please email Coach Leising at mleising@lps.org. The meeting will be April 21st at 6:30 and it will be in the Northeast cafeteria/commons area.

Future LNE Rockets: You are invited to Seacrest Field on Wednesday, April 23, to help cheer the Boys and Girls Soccer Teams to a Victory! One paid parent gets a future rocket student in the gate for free. Wear black for Black Out Night!

INTRAMURALS

Mickle Track Schedule for the Season 7th grade report Monday and Thursday, 8th grade report Tuesday and Wednesday, Friday - All report Practice will end around 4:30 and you must be off campus at that time.

Breakfast Menu for Friday: Breakfast Bagel, Cold Cereal, Whole Grain Toast, Juice or Milk.

Lunch Menu for today: Creamed Turkey w/Roll, Breaded Pork Sandwich, Salmon Sandwich, and fresh salads made daily here at Mickle.
