Student Announcements for Tuesday, April 29, 2008

Announcements for Parents:

REMINDER: THERE WILL BE NO TRACK TODAY DUE TO EARLY DISMISSAL.

As an additional reminder Tuesday, April 29th, will be an early dismissal date for LPS students in order for teachers to meet with their professional learning community planning teams. Students in all LPS middle schools will be dismissed at 1:38pm and should be picked up or off campus by 1:55pm. There will also be no homework club so please make other arrangements for your students. Thank you

As the weather is turning warmer, we know that student clothing choices also begins to change. Midriff shirts and spaghetti straps shirts are out, as well as, loose athletic jersey tank tops for boys will not be allowed unless worn over a shirt with wide straps or over another t-shirt. Teachers will work with students when a concern exists by handing them a pink colored pass to help fix the concern.

Announcements for Students:

There will be no homework club today, April 29, due to PLC. You will also be dismissed from school at 1:38 so please make other arrangements for after school you will need to be off campus by 1:55.

The Native American Caucus meets this Thursday in Portable 11, right after school, until 3:45. See you then. Mr. Rousseau

INTRAMURALS

Mickle Track Schedule for the Season 7th grade report Monday and Thursday, 8th grade report Tuesday and Wednesday, Friday - All report Practice will end around 4:30 and you must be off campus at that time.

Breakfast Menu for Wednesday: Cheese Omelet, Cold Cereal, Whole Grain Toast, Juice or Milk.

Lunch Menu for today: Taco Salad, Egg Roll, Chicken Strips /Biscuit and fresh salads made daily here at Mickle.

Today is an "A" day.
