Today, is an Elementary Plan Day, so it will be a regular school day for middle and high school students. This is the last day of Q1, so now is the time to get in those missing assignments!
Next Monday and Tuesday, October 16-17, is Fall Break. We hope everyone has a safe, enjoyable break!
Science Bowl is back and is starting up this week!!! Science Quiz Bowl is a Jeopardy style science competition for 7th and 8th grade student that is held at Wayne State in February. Students try to answer science questions as fast as they can. Tryouts will be held in Mrs. Hammond’s room (115) on Thursday, October 12th and Friday, October 13th. Sign ups are outside Montgomery’s room (104) or Hammond’s room (115), and you only need to sign up for one day. More information will be shared in your students science class and an informational letter will be sent home at tryouts.If you have any questions, please contact, Mr. Montgomery (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Mrs. Hammond (email@example.com).
Lost and Found items are growing. Students should check outside of the auditorium for missing items. Remember to put names inside of coats and jackets as the weather begins to change. Unclaimed items from lost and found will be donated after Friday, October 13th.
Raising Cane’s has partnered with Mickle for another year of collecting coats, jackets, and heavy sweatshirts for their Raising Cane’s Coat Drive. Students are encouraged to bring the coats to their 4th period X-Day teachers classrooms from October 6th – October 20th. Raising Cane’s will provide a Tailgate Party to the class with the highest percentage of participation. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Mueller or Ms. Hoffman. Thanks for all the help!

*Mark your calendars… We have our Annual CLC Lights On After School Event on Thursday, October 26th from 5:30-7:00 pm at Park Middle School. The event highlights all CLC programs in Lincoln. There will be free dinner, games and competitions. There was also a T-shirt competition that all CLC’s participated in, and one of our own Mickle students won! The shirt will be created and sold at the event.
