*Food money remaining in student cafeteria accounts will transfer over to next year and LPS schools. Student withdraws from accounts is not allowed.

 

*Missing locks from hallway lockers will have an assessed fine of $5 and will be noted in Student Pay.

 

*Registration forms for 2018 LPS Summer Athletic Clinics are available in the front office or online. Summer Clinics start next week so get your registration forms filled out and turned in!

 

*Thursday, May 24th is the last day of the year. Because of the lack of locker access, students are asked NOT to bring extra items with them to school.  No backpacks, larger items, etc. will be needed. Teachers will supply paper and writing items. Nuisance items (shaving cream, silly string, Sharpie markers, spinners, blow up popping items, etc) are not to be on school property or around campus.  

We ask that families NOT make special plans to have lunch with your student the last few days. The same goes for limousine pickups, etc to get students from school at dismissal. It is generally a “high energy time” and extra visitors seem to add to that energy.  Special pickup arrangements add to the congestion of traffic that is already difficult to manage on a traditional day.

 

Students who will not be attending school the last day are asked to come back during the summer to pick up their yearbook in the office.

 

Chromebook Turn In Schedule
This week, students and families are encouraged to work together to clean the Chromebook. Also, remove unnecessary papers from the case and clean it. Lastly, locate the charger brick/cord and clean them. Please make sure your student brings these items for the final check in. Our school plan is to have students go through the summer check in process on the below dates:
-6th grade: Tuesday May 22nd during Language Arts classes

Lost and Found items are growing. Students should check outside of the auditorium for missing items. Unclaimed items from lost and found will be donated after the school year.

 

NEW REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR 2018-2019 YMCA CLC PROGRAM!
Parents must register online for next year’s half or full program, this is required for students participation! There are no more paper registrations.

It is that time of year! KFOR punch cards are for sale in the office. They are $5.00 each and all of the money made from the punch cards will go to the PTSO.  These are only available until the last day of school.
