*8th grade party at Mickle tonight, 6:30-8pm (guests from other schools are not invited)

A large thank you goes to the parent group and PTSO members for their work in organization.  We also appreciate the response in money or other donations for this event. Due to the need for set up and to get volunteers in place, we ask that students not arrive before 6:30pm.  Students should avoid being dropped off early. We ask that rides should be arranged for pick up at 8pm and avoid the parking lot area.

Just a reminder there will no longer be CLC after school programs the remainder of school year. Students are dismissed at 3:00 pm and have arrangements to be off campus by 3:15pm.

Chromebook turn in starts today. Make sure you have your charger and bag.

Lost and Found items are growing. Students should check outside of the cafe for missing items. Unclaimed items from lost and found will be donated over summer break.

This summer The Garden Team would like to invite Mickle students to help take care of the Mickle garden. We will be watering, picking produce, planting, weeding, and doing general garden maintenance. Students can come when they are available and don’t have to commit to the entire summer.

Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays from May 28th – August 1st

Time: 8 – 10 am

A permission slip needs to be signed so we have emergency contact information. For those interested, it can be picked up in the office or Mrs. Hammond’s room, 115. Return permission slips to Mrs. Hammond before the last day of school. Please remember to bring sunscreen, water, and wear close toed shoes.

If Mickle families would like to get involved, please contact Mrs. Hammond at khammond@lps.org for more information.

There is no more book checkout for the school year. Students who have all their books turned in and no fines may stop by the library after school for a thank you gift.

Yearbooks will be delivered during “lunchtime” period on Thursday, May 23, 2019. There are only 100 yearbooks left for sale. If you still want one, please bring $20 to Mrs. Binkley in Room 211. First Come, First Served!
