*Mickle is celebrating World Kindness Day today so make sure to stop by the KIND sign in the main hall and get your picture taken being the “i” in kind!
*Our Native American group will meet on Thursday during 6th period (1:15-2:05). Students will receive passes from Ms. Bock to attend.
We are excited to welcome Freedom Thompson as our guest speaker. Freedom Thompson is a mixed-race, indigenous woman (Chactaw, Chippewa, Dakota) and a Culinary Nutrition Specialist focusing on indigenous foods.
She will explain the uses of cedar, sage, rosemary, thyme and native varieties of corn.
The 8th Grade Class has an amazing opportunity to walk to Lincoln Northeast on Friday, November 12 for a half-day tour of the high school. Students will get to watch different groups perform and learn about activities they might be interested in when they attend High School.
*The weather is expected to be cool so please dress appropriately. No transportation will be provided.
