The Lincoln Air Force Junior ROTC Program Wants You!
Are you in the 8th grade? Do you think of yourself as a leader? Would you like to learn more about how to be a better leader? Would you like to try something that’s different from other students? Do you enjoy learning about aircraft and space exploration? Are you still trying to find that place where you might “fit in” when you go to high school?
If your answer to any of those questions is “yes”, then you should consider joining the Lincoln Air Force Junior ROTC program for our “8th Grade Field Trip to JROTC”, which will take place on 27 January and last all day! This field trip is designed to learn about what our Junior ROTC program is about, and you will be with us all day here at Lincoln Northeast High School. There is no cost or fee associated with this field trip, although parents will be expected to drop off their student at the beginning of school at Lincoln Northeast High School and pick them up at the end of the school day.
There are two ways to get the information about this field trip. The first is to attend the Zoom meeting that Junior ROTC is setting up on 19 January at 6:00pm, which is set up for both parents and students to talk to the program’s instructors and some cadets, as well as arrange to get the parent permission form to you so that you can have it signed in time to attend the field trip. You can get the Zoom code for that meeting by emailing Trent Woodruff at firstname.lastname@example.org. If a parent or the student aren’t available for the Zoom session, you can still email Trent Woodruff to find out more information about the field trip and so that he can get the parent permission form for you.
