*Mickle night at Raising Cane’s is Thursday, October 26 from 6-9p (28th & Cornhusker Hwy). If you mention you are from Mickle, our PTSO will receive 20% of the sales. Thank you for your support.
*Lincoln High School is proud to host a morning of information sharing to help parents and students understand what the International Baccalaureate program is and why it is a premier experience for high school students around the world. Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students and parents are invited and encouraged to attend this event so you can learn more about this incredible program and consider whether IB might be a good fit for you.

*Education Talent Search from UNL, serves eligible young people who are low-income, first-generation students in grades 6th through 12th. In addition to counseling, participants receive information about college admissions requirements, scholarships, and various student financial aid programs. If you wish to meet and talk with one of the Education Specialist they will be at Mickle on Tuesdays and Wednesday, in room #106 after school until 4:00p.
Students are getting ready for Red Ribbon Week® 2017 – this year’s theme is: Your Future Is Key, So Stay Drug Free. At school, students will engage in activities that promote a drug free and healthy lifestyle.
Please partner with us and discuss this message at home, at the dinner table, at family outings, and with friends and extended family. Students will be encouraged to dress up during the week to show they are drug free.
Tuesday 24th: Stay in the Game-Be Drug Free (Wear a shirt or outfit from your favorite sports team/athlete or activity) *No Hats Please.
Wednesday 25th: Shine Bright/Pink Out for Breast Cancer Awareness (Wear neon, shiny, or glittery clothes to show you’re drug free)
Thursday 26th: Your FUTURE is KEY! (Wear professional clothes or dress like a specific career to show
you’re drug free AND ready to get the job)
Friday 27th: America the Drug Free (Wear Red, White, and Blue or Mickle Blue to show you’re drug free)

Mark your calendars… We have our Annual CLC Lights On AfterSchool Event on Thursday, October 26th from 5:30-7:00 pm at Park Middle School. The event highlights all CLC programs in Lincoln. There will be free dinner, games, and competitions. There was also a T-shirt competition that all CLC’s participated in, and one of our own Mickle students won! The shirt will be created and sold at the event.
