Announcements for Parents – #Robinmicklems:
All Mickle parents are invited/encouraged to attend the Tuesday, November 15th PTSO meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Mickle Media Center for a follow up to our spring 2011 anti-bullying seminar presented by Mr. Vic Pearson and Mickle staff.
Mr. Pearson will present a video entitled “Bullying” that is specifically for staff members and parents. Viewers will hear testimonials from parents, school staff, and students about their experiences with bullying and what they did or tried to do to address it. This video also includes an interview with a bullying prevention expert on the definition of bullying, warning signs of bullying, bullying statistics, and additional information on bullying. This year Mr. Pearson’s Anti-Bullying Team has created two pamphlets that he will pass out at the November 15th Meeting. These pamplets are also on the Mickle Web Site. Parents will find important information that they can use while working with their children.
Mickle’s Anti-Bullying Team consists of the following members: Vic Pearson, Gene Thompson, Doreen Ainslie, Nancy Kiburz, Vicky Harris, Diane Gabelhouse, Jarred Rowe, Andrew Westphalen, Tom Magnuson, Travis Bartels, Brenda Schmidt, and Jane Cotton-Green.
Thank you, Mickle PTSO.
