April is National School Library Month and it’s time for the 19th Annual Cans4Books! Raise money for your school library AND do something good for the planet by recycling your aluminum cans. Bring your empty cans to the Mickle Middle School library. For every plastic grocery bag you bring full of cans, you will receive a raffle ticket to enter to win a Mickle plastic reusable water bottle full of goodies. Bring as many bags as you can from April 1st – 30th.
Please join us at our next PTSO meeting Tuesday April 30th at 6:30 in the Mickle Media Center. You won’t wanna miss the guest speaker from the Northeast Area Council for Teen Safety (N-ACTS). N-ACTS is a group of parents, teachers and students that focus on teen safety. N-ACTS would like to invite Mickle parents to join us in the conversation around parenting topics. We would love to have passionate people that would like to learn and/or share concerns around parenting children of all ages, but specifically, with younger kids that would like to focus on prevention of risky behaviors.
