*LPS Fall Break will be from Friday, October 11th to Tuesday, October 15th. Classes resume on Wednesday, October 16th for the start of 2nd Quarter. Report Cards will be available to view on October 19th. **The Mickle Office will be closed on Friday, October 11th**
*All Lost and Found items will be donated to a charity after Fall Break. Please remind your student(s) to look and claim any missing items!
*Dine out at Don & Millies (83rd & O only) – Tuesday, Oct. 8th from 4-9pm – must mention Mickle when ordering. See flyer for details. flyer
*Girls basketball tryouts for (Last Name N-Z) will be on Wednesday, October 9th at 3:15pm.
*There will be a meeting for 7th and 8th graders interested in wrestling for Mickle this year on Tuesday, October 8th at 3:15 in the west gym. If you have questions, ask Mr. Bender.
*7th/8th Grade Band Concert will be on Tuesday, October 8th at 6:00 pm in the Mickle auditorium.
October 7th -10th is National Yearbook Week, and we want you to have Lasting Impressions of your time at Mickle. We are encouraging everyone to buy a yearbook during this week if you haven’t already! They can be purchased with $25 cash or check to room 202 OR have an adult use a debit or credit card on ParentVue. A list of students who have already purchased yearbooks will be in the hallway outside the media center and on the window of room 202 (Mrs. Binkley’s room) starting on Monday. If you can’t afford a yearbook, several will be available in the Mickle Store for purchase with Mickle Money, or talk to Mrs. Binkley!
We are also hosting Dress Up Days for the week for the week of Monday, October 7th – Thursday, October 10th! Monday, wear a Jersey to support your team. Tuesday dress like a decade. On Wednesday, we wear pink and Thursday dress like Adam Sandler! Stop by and let us pic your fit during lunch and recess! Talk to Mrs. Binkley in room 202 for further details.
