Message From The Principal

This is the final week of the first quarter. As a reminder, students will have fall break on Monday and Tuesday, October 13 and 14. The first day of the second quarter will be on Wednesday, October 15.  Please encourage your students to monitor their grades and to stay on top of any missing assignments or assessments that need to be made up or turned in. As always, student progress can be monitored in Parentvue.

It’s National Yearbook Week!

If you have not already purchased a yearbook, please do so!  They are $25 cash or check to Mickle Middle School.  Drop it off in the office or bring it to Mrs. Binkley in room 202.  If you pay with a card, please use Synergy Student Fees.  If your family cannot afford a yearbook, but you are interested in receiving a yearbook, please apply for a yearbook by filling out the form linked. If you would like to donate yearbooks, or funds to purchase yearbooks for those who cannot afford one, please send your cash or check donation to room 202 or visit the link to our Foundation Campaign.

Message From the Health Office

SEVENTH grade students are, by law, required to have a TDaP booster.

Please be sure to provide documentation of TDaP booster or TDaP booster appointment date to the health office as students without the required TDaP booster will be excluded from school starting October 15.

Mickle PTSO

The next PTSO meeting will be on November 3rd in the Mickle Library at 6:00 pm.  Our guest speaker will be Officer Cameron Cleland who is the Mickle School Resource Officer (SRO).  He will be speaking about what he does at Mickle and how LPD and LPS collaborate together.  We will also be discussing chapters 1-3 in our bookclub after the PTSO meeting. 

The next Mickle PTSO dine out will be on October 26th at 48 Bowl on North 48th Street from 1pm – 9pm.   For this fundraiser, 10% of all bowling, food and beverage sales will go back to Mickle.  Please  visit the 48 Bowl Flyer for more information.
