Message From The Principal
Mickle families:
We hope you have plans for an enjoyable and relaxing three day weekend. Labor Day has always marked the unofficial end of summer and the start to fall. With cooler weather and football in full swing, it certainly feels like fall once again. Having reached this first check-point of the school year, we are proud of our students and the commitment they have shown towards school. It certainly has been a great start and we are looking forward to the months ahead with this great group of students.

Map Testing
For 7th grade students MAP Growth Reading will be on September 3rd, 4th, and 5th. (MAP Growth Reading took place for 6th and 8th grade students August 27th, 28th, and 29th). MAP Growth Math will take place for students in all grades on September 9th, 10th and 11th.
The best preparation for these tests is to come to school well rested with a positive attitude toward taking the tests. It is important that your child do their best on these tests so that LPS teachers and administrators have accurate information for instructional planning. Please remind your child(ren) to charge their Chromebook at home the night before the tests.
